David Festenstein

David Festenstein is a phone 'Guru' and helps clients reach senior executives to "start conversations from cold" which have led to deals of $0.5million upwards. This approach can reduce the length of high-ticket sales, which would normally take from 12-18months to 3-5months and in a number of cases has helped double the average proposal value.

Part of David's methodology is to help organisations make better use of the phone, as a business tool, rather than an ad-hoc communication device. To this end, he uses the concept of a telephone meeting to help clients get the same outcomes from a face-to-face meeting, without sacrificing the time and cost which is normally required. He has also applied his expertise to a call centre environment and helped improve the turnover in sales by 150%.

In parallel, he has trained as a communication specialist in NLP, and as a coach. His landmark cases have been to help cure a phobia of a client who had not flown for 15 years and to remove the trigger of a king's Cross Victim, so he could go down into the underground again without reliving the horrors of the event.

David's career started out in a subsidiary of the large IT Services Group, Cap Gemini, but since then has worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from independent management consultants, large accounting firms and a billion dollar Software Company.
